Main Event UFC 124

At UFC 124 in Montreal Canada, the main event featured current Welterweight Champ Georges "Rush" St-Pierre and top Contender Josh Koscheck. St-Pierre had a lot on his mind, he really wanted to finish Koscheck and shut his mouth for once. Although St-Pierre did not finished Koscheck, the fight ended with GSP's hand being raised, the fight went all 5 rounds, and the judges scored it 50-45. (In this picture below you can see the one on one training with famous boxing coach Freddy Roach really improved his stand up. St-Pierre out boxed Koscheck in almost every round. With quick lighting jabs he manage to frustrate his opponent and steal the victory).

UFC 127

On February 27th 2011,  UFC 127 will be taking place in Sydney Australia. The main event will be Bj Penn Vs. Jon Fitch. This fight is huge for both fighters, and the winner of the fight may get a title shot, said Mr. Dana White President of the UFC. The fight was officially made on November 20th after Bj's victory over Matt Hughes. Jon Fitch was scheduled to fight Jake Ellenberger at UFC 126 in Las Vegas. Dana White later substituted Jake Ellenberger with Bj Penn, to face Fitch. In my opinion this would probably be the biggest challenge for Penn.  ---Lets get Um B.

James Toney calls out Rampage

This past weekend the six time World Boxing Champ, James "lights out" Toney called out the former UFC light heavy weight Champion, Quieten "Rampage" Jackson. It is not officially set, but there's a high percentage that the UFC will put it together. Not so long ago Jackson defeated Lyoto Machida by decision. James Toney is known for his knockout power and so is Jackson. If this fight is official, I predict it's going to have more Fire works then January 1st. Got's to see it...!

Loss to Penn causes Matt Hughes to think about his MMA career..

At UFC 123 in Detroit, legendary Matt Hughes took on Bj Penn. Basically the winner of the fight would be closer to a title shot, and the looser would probably call it quits. Matt said, winning this fight would mean winning three fights in a roll and loosing it, would mean getting defeated three times. This fight ended with Penn's arm being raised. A few weeks later, the only thing  Matt Hughes could think of is retirement.

A Win for Penn

At UFC 123 the former light/welter weight champ Bj "The Prodigy" Penn recently won a knockout of the night award, defeating long time rival Matt Hughes. It was a Rubber match, the third and final match. The winner of the fight will be that closer to a title shot. On Saturday Nov.20th it was "The Prodigy's" night. Wining by a 21 second Knockout in the first round.

Bj penn's greatest acheivements

In my opinion Bj Penn is the greatest Mix Martial Artist in the World. In his 10+ years of Mix Martial Arts, Bj fought very good opponents. If his opponents weren't Champions then they were probably top Contenders. Through out his MMA fighting career he's fought the best. One of his greatest achievements was being named the first none-Brazilian Jujitsu Champion. For many people earning a black belt in jujitsu takes you at least 4-8 years for some people but for Bj penn he became a black belt in jujitsu with only 3 1/2 years, that's insane for most people.  He is the second man in the UFC to hold two championship belts. The first Championship belt is a Welterweight belt, defeating Matt Hughes by a re-naked choke in there first match up. He then defeated Shaun Sherk by an exciting fashion finishing him with a TKO for the Lightweight belt. This makes Penn one of the top pound for pound MMA (Mix Martial Artist) fighters in the World today.
